Corrosion Inhibitor is a chemical additive of substance or combination of substances reducing the corrosion rates on metal surfaces that slows the reaction at the cathode or precipitate cathodic areas, producing a negative shift in corrosion potential. The Corrosion Inhibitor involves formation of a coating layer which prevents access of the corrosive substance to the metal, in spray form in combination with a lubricant or a penetrating oil, or additives to the fluids that surround the metal or related object.
