Effectiveness

Effectiveness is an ability to be successful and a measure of the quality of delivery that produces the required work products of sufficient quality while consuming the minimum amount of resources.

Reference Definition by ISO: Effectiveness refers to the degree to which a planned effect is achieved. Planned activities are effective if these activities are actually carried out and planned results are effective if these results are actually achieved; by Aiche: Effectiveness is the combination of process safety management performance and process safety management efficiency. An effective process safety management program produces the required work products of sufficient quality while consuming the minimum amount of resources.
