Mitigation

Mitigation is to make something less harmful, unpleasant, or bad by the reasonable actions to minimise the amount of the loss suffered, or to prevent the adverse impacts of hazards, risks, or potential threats. Effective Mitigation requires collaboration among various stakeholders, including governments, communities, businesses, and international organisations who involves integrating scientific knowledge, risk assessments, policy development, resource allocation, and continuous monitoring and evaluation of mitigation measures to ensure their effectiveness and adaptability to changing circumstances.
