Zinc (Zn) is a chemical element with atomic number (Z) 30, group 12, period 4, and atomic weight 65.38. The Zinc (Zn) is an unique contaminant in the crude oil, and the only zinc in petroleum comes from recycling lubricating oils, used in making galvanized iron, brass, and other alloys.
