CBS (Cost Breakdown Structure)

A Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) is the cost allocation to the lowest level of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). A CBS is a breakdown of the costs of the various components of the structure including all works or services done by the contractors or subcontractors. A CBS is used to continuously compare the actual cost with the budget, and integrated to the cost control system. (Refer to the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure))
