Voltage Drop

Voltage Drop is the amount of voltage loss that is reduced as electric current moves through the passive elements all or part of the circuit due to impedance. The Voltage Drop across the internal resistance of the source such as conductors, contacts, and connectors, and simply the arithmetical difference between a higher voltage and a lower one.
