BEDD (Basis of Engineering and Design Data)

A Basis of Engineering and Design Data (BEDD) is the basis or basic information of the design and engineering work processes with applicable specifications, codes, standards as well as regulations that defines a common basis for the design of the process and utility units. A BEDD is developed by an engineering contractor or a consultant in accordance with BEDQ (Basis of Engineering and Design Questionnaire) responses and contractor's experiences and knowledges with the standard specifications and regulations. A BEDD is a deliverable document of the FEED, Basic Engineering, and Detailed Design and Engineering. (Also, called as the Basic Engineering Design Data (BEDD)) (Refer to the BEDQ (Basis of Engineering and Design Questionnaire))
