Biocatalyst

A Biocatalyst is a catalyst (as an enzyme) of biological origin that can be defined as the use of natural substances to speed up (or catalyse) chemical reactions. An enzyme or enzymes as the natural substances, is simply a protein catalyst, and has many important uses including digest food, produce vital nutrients, move muscles, make beer and wine, process food, etc.
