Delayed Cracking

A Delayed Cracking is a cracking under high strength steel, high stress level, and a source of hydrogen in a metal occurring after plating or pickling, sometimes after a considerable time delay. (Refer to the Hydrogen Induced Cracking (HIC); Cold Cracking)
