Managing Contractor

A Managing Contractor is the owner's representative in overseeing the project work efforts who acts as an owner to administrate and oversee a complete project. The Managing Contractor is responsible for the overall project management by managing several contractors or subcontractors who carry out different parts of the work. (e.g., recommend and select contractors; coordinate and supervise all aspects of the design and construction work; staffing requirements necessary to operate the facility, etc.) (Refer to the Main Contractor; Prime Contractor)
