Non-conformance (NC)

Non-conformance (NC, or non-conformity) is a failure to meet a requirement which should be needed, expected, or obligated. A NC is a deficiency in characteristic, documentation, or procedure of the quality including work process through finding the physical defect, test failure, incorrect or inadequate documentation, or deviation from testing and inspection.
