A Plant is 1) a factory or production facility that is constructed or installed equipment, piping, structures, buildings, etc., with electrical power and control systems. The Plant consists of the process, utility, and offsite facilities; 2) a living thing that grows in earth, usually has a stem, leaves, roots, and flowers, and produces seeds.
