Reciprocating Pump

A Reciprocating Pump is a positive-displacement pump that is collected in enclosed volume of liquid and discharged using pressure to the required application depending on the positive displacement or the fluid pumped by a piston or plunger. The Reciprocating Pump is suitable for low volumes of flow at high pressures which includes the piston pump, plunger pump and diaphragm pump.

Reference Definition by Wikipedia: A Reciprocating Pump is a class of positive-displacement pumps which includes the piston pump, plunger pump and diaphragm pump. It is often used where a relatively small quantity of liquid is to be handled and where delivery pressure is quite large. In reciprocating pumps, the chamber in which the liquid is trapped, is a stationary cylinder that contains the piston or plunger.
