Residual Risk

A Residual Risk is a remaining risk after the risk treatment process is performed, or an unidentified risk after a risk management plan is initially set-up. The Residual Risk is often acceptable or unavoidable, especially in situations where complete elimination of risk is not possible or practical. (Also, called as a retained risk) (Refer to the Risk Classification (or Risk Response))
