Selenium (Se) is a chemical element with atomic number (Z) 34, group 16, period 4, and atomic weight 78.971. The Selenium (Se) is a non metallic chemical element, that resembles sulphur and tellurium and has good photovoltaic and photoconductive properties, used extensively in electronics, such as photocells, light meters and solar cells.
