A Substation is a place that allows a set of electrical equipment reducing the high voltage of electrical power for suitable supply to consumers. The Substation contains the power conversion equipment (e.g., transformers, circuit breakers, distribution system, etc.) to transform voltage from high to low, or the reverse.
