Toluene (C6H5CH3)

Toluene (C6H5CH3) is a colourless liquid of the aromatic group of petroleum hydrocarbons, made by the catalytic reforming of petroleum naphtha containing methyl cyclohexane. The Toluene is a high octane gasoline blending agent, solvent, and chemical intermediate, base for TNT.
