Transformer (TR)

A Transformer (TR) is an electrical device that converts a voltage of an alternating current (AC) of electrical energy to increase or decrease using the electromagnetic induction, but an electric frequency does not change. There are two common types of electrical sensors used in the power industry are potential transformer (PT) and current transformer (CT).
