Tungsten (W)

Tungsten (W) is a chemical element with atomic number (Z) 74, group 6, period 6, and atomic weight 183.84. The Tungsten (W) is a lustrous and silvery white metal that resists attack by oxygen, acids and alkalis. Tungsten has the highest melting point of any metal, used in filaments in incandescent light bulbs, it is also used in electric contacts and arc-welding electrodes.
