Unconventional Oil is a petroleum producing or extracting techniques such as an oil sands, oil shales, etc., other than a conventional oil from the wells. (e.g., Bitumen in Canada, Extra-heavy crude oil in Venezuela, Kerogen (Oil Shale) (Opposite of the Conventional Oil)
