Unsaturated Hydrocarbon

An Unsaturated Hydrocarbon is one or more double bonds between carbon atoms (alkene) or more triple bonds between carbon atoms (alkyne). These are mixed with alkanes in petroleum and contribute more carbon dioxide per pound than saturated hydrocarbons.
