A Key Risk Indicator (KRI) is a metric for measuring the risks to help monitor the level of risk taking in an activity or an organisation that is the likelihood in the probability of an event and its consequence will exceed the organisation’s ability to be successful. A KRI informs an early warning to identify potential event that may harm continuity of the project that is a natural way of the operational risk capital.
