Vanadium (V) is a chemical element with atomic number (Z) 23, group 5, period 4, and atomic weight 50.942. The Vanadium (V) is a rare, soft, ductile gray-white element found combined in certain minerals and resists corrosion due to a protective film of oxide on the surface, used mainly to produce certain alloys as a steel additive.
