Activation Energy (Ea)

Activation Energy (Ea) is the minimum amount of energy that is required to activate atoms or molecules to the condition for a chemical reaction or physical transformation to occur. The Activation Energy (Ea) of a reaction is a constant that defines the effect of temperature on reaction rate, and measured in joules (J) or kilojoules per mole (kJ/mol).
