Physiology

Physiology is the scientific study of the way in which the bodies of living things work including the biological, chemical and physical activities and processes that underlie the functioning of living organisms and their parts. The Physiology focus in how organisms, organ systems, organs, cells, and biomolecules carry out the chemical or physical functions that exist in a living system. The word Physiology was first used by the Greeks around 600 BC to describe a philosophical inquiry into the nature of things.
