Renewable Natural Gas (RNG)

Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) is a term used to describe natural biogas produced by the decomposition of organic matter that is produced from multiple sources, including livestock waste, landfills, wastewater sludge, food waste and other organic waste operations. An RNG can be used for in thermal applications (heating and cooking), generate electricity, vehicle fuel or as a bio-product feedstock (bioplastics). (Also, known as Biomethane)
