Allowance

An Allowance is 1) the pocket money; 2) an amount of money that is regularly paying, especially to pay for a particular thing; 3) an incremental resource included in estimate to cover expected further growth such as design development but undefined requirements for individual accounts or sub-accounts. The allowance is a part of the basic estimate.
