BLM (Building Lifecycle Management)

Building Lifecycle Management (BLM) is the practice of designing techniques, constructing, operating, and managing buildings with a single set of data that requires accurate and extensive building information modelling (BIM) and a standardised and integrated technologies and processes. A BIM is the adaptation of product lifecycle management (PLM) to improve the productivity, sustainability, quality, and more accurately predict outcomes, and to reduce rework, waste, risk, and cost. (BLM = BIM + PLM)
