Bus Bar (Busbar)

A Bus Bar (Busbar) is a conductor or an assembly of conductors for collecting electric currents and distributing them to outgoing feeders of an electric power plant that conducts electricity within a switchboard, distribution board, substation, battery bank, or other electrical apparatus. The Bus Bar system consists of the isolator and the circuit breaker in which the circuit breaker is tripped off and the faulty section of the busbar is easily disconnected from the circuit.
