Ether (CH3CH2OCH2CH3) is a group of organic chemical compounds composed of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen, characterised by an oxygen atom attached to two carbon atoms. The Ether is used to turn solid substances into liquid, and that was used in medicine in the past to prevent patients from feeling pain during operations.
