A Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) is a type of hybrid vehicle that combines the benefits of gasoline engines and electric motors. The presence of the HEV is intended to achieve either better fuel economy than a conventional vehicle or better performance that runs on fuel alone and do not plug in to an electrical outlet to recharge the battery.
