Inert Gas

An Inert Gas is a gaseous substance which does not chemically react under specific conditions. The Inert Gases are argon (Ar), helium (He), neon (Ne), krypton (Kr), xenon (Xe) and radon (Rn), and purified argon and nitrogen (N2) gases are most commonly used. (Refer to the Noble Gas)
