Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is the process of managing the entire lifecycle of a product that encompasses to optimise and streamline all the activities, systems, and information in the product's development, production, and maintenance. A PLM involves in the design, engineering, manufacturing, distribution, sales, and service of a product that integrates people, data, processes, and business systems and helps the business decision making from pricing and promotion to expansion or cost-cutting.
