A Positive Displacement Pump is a fluid move by repeatedly enclosing a fixed amount and forcing (displacing) that transports the fluid into the discharge pipe driven by pistons, screws, gears, rollers, diaphragms, or vanes. They are generally used for special applications such as viscous liquids or liquids containing fragile solids.
