Buyout

Buyout is a situation where the existing owners (a person or group) of a firm buys all the shares belonging to a company and gets control of it, usually management and/or workers of that firm. The Buyout will often include the purchasing of the target company’s outstanding debt, and may be for the whole firm or a division or a plant as the case applies.
