Y2K (Year 2000) (or Millennium Bug) Issue is a class of computer bugs related to the formatting and storage of calendar data for dates beginning in the year 2000 that concerns computer systems would be disrupted by treating 1 January 2000 as 1 January 1900 as old programs only stored the last two digits of years.
