CGS (Centimetre, Gram and Second) Unit

A CGS (Centimetre, Gram and Second) Unit is a metric system that is based on the centimetre as the unit of length, the gram as the unit of mass, and the second as the unit of time. For the international standardisation and scientific purposes, CGS units have now been replaced by the International Standard (SI) Units. (Refer to the MKS (Metre, Kilogramme, and Second) Unit)
