Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS)

Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) formed when the former Soviet Union (now called Russia) totally dissolved in December 1991. At present the CIS unites: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
