Conventional Oil is an organic compound that has developed naturally within the Earth’s crust, and is composed primarily of hydrogen and carbon, but often contains traces of other elements, such as nitrogen, sulphur and various metals. The Conventional Oil is produced using drilling and pumping technologies that utilise the natural pressure of an underground reservoir, which differentiates it from the oil extracted from oil sands. (Opposite of the Unconventional Oil)
