Corrosion Risk Assessment

A Corrosion Risk Assessment is the assessing corrosion risks and developing appropriate inspection methods and mitigation measures forms that can be summarised the basic principles of the Risk Based Inspection (RBI), Criticality Assessment (CA) and Asset Integrity Management (AIM). The Corrosion Risk Assessment is important in classifying the relative severity of corrosion risk in the low, medium, and high risk categories that depends on data, with the accuracy of assessments to the amount and quality of input data available for consideration of both existing and aging facilities.
