Design Intent Documentation (DID)

Design Intent Documentation (DID) is a term frequently used to define the commissioning process at the design phase that explains how proposed designs respond to the Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR) and how the project is operated. A DID with OPR documents are the course for a successful project program beginning in the design phase proceeding through the construction phase and operation.
