Digital Economy

Digital Economy is anything powered by digital technologies that is based on digital computing technologies. The Digital Economy is hyperconnectivity which means growing interconnection of people, organisations, and machines that results from the internet and World Wide Web (www), mobile technology, and internet of things (IoT), etc. The term Digital Economy was coined in Don Tapscott’s 1995 in Promise and Peril in the Age of Networked Intelligence.
