Direct Air Capture (DAC)

Direct Air Capture (DAC) is a process of capturing carbon dioxide (CO2) directly from the atmosphere and generating a concentrated stream of CO2 for sequestration or utilisation. A DAC is a technological method that uses chemical reactions to capture carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere, and allowing the other components of air to pass through. This is what plants and trees do every day.
