Dopamine is a chemical substance produced in the body to transmit signals between nerve cells that presents in the body as a neurotransmitter and a precursor of other substances including adrenaline. The Dopamine acts on areas of the brain to give human feelings of pleasure, satisfaction and motivation that also has a role to play in controlling memory, mood, sleep, learning, concentration, movement and other body functions. The Dopamine is often associated with pleasure, an excess or deficiency of dopamine can have different effects, and the role of dopamine in the brain is complex and multifaceted.
