Freshwater (or Fresh Water)

Freshwater (or Fresh Water) is any naturally occurring water from the earth surface found in lakes, streams, and rivers, but except seawater and brackish water that is not salty when considered as a natural resource.

Reference Definition by Freedrinkingwater.com: Freshwater contains less than 1,000 milligrams per litter (mg/L) of dissolved solids; generally, more than 500 mg/L of dissolved solids is undesirable for drinking and many industrial uses.
