G-M (or GM, Geiger-Muller) Counter or Tube

G-M (or GM, Geiger-Muller) Counter or Tube is a radiation detection and measuring instrument using the ionising effect of radiation. It is known as a Geiger counter, and named for Hans Geiger and W. Muller who invented it in the 1920s.
