A Gauge Tank is a small tank with accurate volume markings used to measure flow into or out of a well. An Automatic Tank Gauge is a device that automatically measures the level of crude oil, petroleum products, or LNG in storage tanks and raises an alarm when the level goes down or up the threshold limits.
