GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union and the European Economic Area that was approved by the EU Parliament on April 14, 2016 and goes into effect on May 25, 2018. A GDPR applies to any personal data including name, identification number, location data or online identifier, reflecting changes in technology and the way organisations collect information about people.
