Germanium (Ge)

Germanium (Ge) is a chemical element with atomic number (Z) 32, group 14, period 4, and atomic weight 72.630. The Germanium (Ge) is a hard, lustrous, gray-white, brittle metalloid that has a diamondlike crystalline structure and it is similar in chemical and physical properties to silicon, mainly used in transistors and integrated circuits.
