Global Complexity Index consists of the Economic Complexity Index (ECI) and Product Complexity Index (PCI). An ECI measures the diversity and complexity of a locations' economy and its knowledge intensity of a product by considering the knowledge intensity of its exporters. A rank of countries of the ECI/ PCI based on how diversified and complex their export basket is. The product equivalent of the Economic Complexity Index is the Product Complexity Index (PCI).
